Brandie Conforti


As Global Chief Development Officer for JA Worldwide, Brandie offers Budget Buddies not only extensive fundraising experience, but also a deep understanding of the nonprofit sector, rich partner relationships, and a passion for our mission

Anne Muita

Vice Chair

Anne Muita is Senior Credit Analyst with First Republic Bank. Anne was with Enterprise Bank as a Commercial Lending Portfolio Manager, VP. She has also served as Financial Advisor at Edward Jones Investments, Credit Officer at Cambridge Savings Bank, and Head of Credit Analysis/Assistant General Manager at Commercial Bank of Africa in Nairobi, Kenya.

Shandra Gardiner


Shandra is the Chief Financial Officer of Massachusetts Commission for the Blind (MCB) and guides a team of finance professionals in procurement, accounting, and budgeting units. Her responsibilities ensure State and Federal compliance with fiscal processes and procedures. Previously she served as Director for Financial Compliance and as Legislative Liaison, Financial Analyst for the Executive Office of Administration and Finance, and also worked in retail and investment banking.

Enrique Perez


Enrique Perez is the Managing Principal & Chief Investment Officer at Mission Park Capital, a financial planning and investment management firm. Previously, Enrique served as the Chief of Staff to the Massachusetts Secretary of Housing & Economic Development and as a Managing Director at MassHousing. He was named a “2021 Rising Star'' by Financial Planning Magazine.

Britta Truskey

Board Member

Britta is a Manager on the Management Consulting for Financial Services at PricewaterhouseCoopers. She is a management and strategy consultant with nearly a decade of experience in both the financial services and retail & consumer industries.

Shannon Gath

Board Member

Shannon Gath was appointed Teradyne’s Chief Information Officer in April 2021 and oversees global information technology and security. Prior to joining Teradyne, Shannon served as the CIO at AMAG Pharmaceuticals and in a variety of senior IT leadership roles at Fidelity Investments and Vertex Pharmaceuticals. She was named an Enterprise Finalist for the 2019 Boston CIO of the Year Awards for her leadership, innovation, and excellence. She was named a “2019 Rising Star” by Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association.

Naznine Tilak

Board Member

Naznine Tilak is Vice President and Head of Learning, Talent Management and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) at Pegasystems. Prior to joining Pegasystems, Naznine was Global Head of Talent Management at Waters Corporation. She has 15+ years of experience in Human Resources at various companies including Santander Bank, State Street, and Accenture.

Kate McCabe

Board Member

Katherine McCabe is a Senior Vice President, Head of North American Asset Owner and Canadian Sales at State Street. Kate joined State Street from BNYM where she spent 25 years in various operational, service and sales roles, most recently as the US head of Asset Owner business development.

Sarah Connors

Board Member

Sarah Connors has spent more than 15 years in communications roles of increasing responsibility at biotech and pharmaceutical companies. Sarah was appointed Head of U.S. Corporate Communications at Oncopeptides in July of 2020. Sarah joined Oncopeptides from AMAG Pharmaceuticals where she served as Executive Director of Corporate Communications. At AMAG, Sarah led product and pipeline communications and focused on launch execution. Prior to AMAG, Sarah spent 10 years at Sanofi Genzyme.

Gisel Lopez, CCRP

Board Member

Gisel is an Associate Director in Global Alliance Management at Apellis Pharmaceuticals , a biotech company that focuses on the comprehensive control of complement, a part of the immune system. She is also the Chief Innovation Officer and a Board Member for the Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA) Boston Chapter. After moving to Boston from Peru, Gisel is passionate about creating opportunities for Latinas to connect and grow.
