Effective date: July 27, 2026
Women’s Money Matters Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (Tax ID 90-0688545). Donors make our free programs possible, and we treat donor information with the same care we ask our participants to trust us with. This policy explains what we collect from donors and supporters, how we use it, and the control you have over it. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share our donor list with any other organization for that organization’s own fundraising or marketing purposes. We do not exchange donor lists with other nonprofits. Your information is used to support the mission you chose to give to, and nothing else.
Donor and supporter records are maintained in our constituent relationship management system (Salesforce), which is our system of record. Access is restricted to staff and authorized volunteers whose roles require it. Our email communications are sent through third-party email delivery platforms under contract with us.
We share donor information only in these limited circumstances:
Gifts made in honor or memory of someone may be acknowledged to the honoree or family without disclosing the gift amount, unless you ask us not to.
To exercise any of these, email [email protected] or call 617-297-7376. We will honor requests promptly.
Donations are generally non-refundable once processed. If you made an error, such as a duplicate gift, an incorrect amount, or an unintended recurring gift, contact us within 30 days and we will work with you in good faith to correct it. You may cancel a recurring gift at any time by contacting us.
We retain donor and gift records for as long as needed to steward the relationship and to satisfy our accounting, audit, tax, and grant reporting obligations, which generally requires keeping transaction records for a period of years. When records are no longer required, we delete or de-identify them.
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect donor information, including encrypted connections and role-based access controls. We will never ask you for your password or banking login details, and we will never request a donation by gift card, wire transfer to an individual, or cryptocurrency. If you receive a suspicious solicitation appearing to come from us, please contact us before acting on it.
